I was born and raised within the city limits of Atlanta. I’m a product of a household with two parents that married in 1960. I am married to my wife of 14 years, Jameia Johnson. I am the proud parent of two children, Jazmene and Darrius. I was introduced to Jesus in my youth while attending Fair Hill Missionary Baptist Church with my parents. However I began to know Jesus in my mid teenage years at County Line United Methodist Church. I quickly began serving in the music ministry. I progressed to the Minister of Music, where I served as the leader over all the directors and musicians. I was given the awesome responsibility to occupy the position of Lay Leader at County Line UMC. While at County Line United Methodist Church, I accepted my call into ministry under Pastors Carl and Brenda McRae.
God blessed me to start a Community Choir in Southwest Atlanta. That position stretched me to operate in pastoral functions for the singers in the choir. I served as the Minister of Worship and the Arts for the Youth and Young Adult Ministry at the Ray of Hope Christian Church. Simultaneously, I also served as interim Minister of Worship and the Arts for the entire Ray of Hope Church. While at the Ray of Hope Christian Church I continued to be a servant at Exousia Lighthouse Christian Ministries by assisting in any capacity necessary. Since January of 2008 I have humbly served as the Associate Pastor of Exousia Lighthouse International Christian Ministries.
